Axial Fan Type Unit Heaters

Unit heaters with axial fan are built in 12 models within the capacity range of  4 – 60 kW capacity.

GENERAL

There are two series of units depending on the fan type used; radial and axial fan types. 

KTA series of unit heaters are equipped with axial fan and are suitable for wall or ceiling installation.  In this series 12 models within the capacity range of 4 – 60 kW capacity are manufactured. 

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Casing

Casing is made of sheet metal and is overpainted with electrostatic powder paint into desired colors.  Casing design enables easy installation and results in a rigid construction. 

 Fan - Motor Group

In KTA series unit heaters, statically and dynamically balanced, vibration free, low noise type axial fans are used.  380V electric motors are directly coupled to the fans.

Heating Coil

As standard, coils with steel tubes and spirally wound steel fins, electrogalvanized after production, are used.  These coils have a staggered tube arrangement.  On demand, copper tube, aluminum fin coils are also used.  In cases where the temperature of the heating medium exceeds 100ºC, seamless steels tubes are used.

Coil connections are screwed type for hot water and flanged for steam and high temperature hot water.  Condense connection is flanged.

Air Discharge Louvre

In unit heaters with axial fans, air discharge louvre type is based on the installation position.  Units mounted on the ceiling that have vertical air discharge have opposed blade type louvres while units mounted on the wall that have horizontal air flow have paralel blade type discharge louvres.  Position of the louvres are controlled by a lever on the louvre.

On request, heat / cool type unit heaters or directly gas fired unit heaters can be supplied.
