GENERAL :

In accordance with VDI 2089/1 standards, the humidity ratio of indoor swimming pools must be between 40%-64%.  Humidity ratios over 64% in the environment will cause growth of microorganisms like microbes, bacteria and fungus.  Furthermore, the corrosive effects of condensed chlorinated water over metal and wood surfaces cause corrosion of construction elements within a short time.  Therefore, humidity ratio must be kept within comfort limits through dehumidification, to eliminate these unwanted effects.
