Radial Fan Type Unit Heaters

Unit heaters with radial fan are built in 13 models within the capacity range of 5 – 70 kW capacity.

GENERAL

There are two series of units depending on the fan type used; radial and axial fan types. 

KDA series of unit heaters are equipped with radial fans and are suitable for wall installation.  In this series 13 models within the capacity range of 5 – 70 kW capacity are manufactured. 

 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Casing

Casing is made of sheet metal and is overpainted with electrostatic powder paint into desired colors.  Casing design enables easy installation and results in a rigid construction.

 Fan - Motor Group

In KDA series unit heaters, statically and dynamically balanced, vibration free, low noise type radial fans are used.  380V, 1.500 rpm electric motors are directly coupled to the fans. On request, 1.000 rpm motor can also be used.  On the suction side of the fan, there is a protective wire mesh cover.

Heating Coil

As standard, coils with steel tubes and spirally wound steel fins, electrogalvanized after production, are used.  These coils have a staggered tube arrangement.  On demand, copper tube, aluminum fin coils are also used.  In cases where the temperature of the heating medium exceeds 100ºC, seamless steels tubes are used.

Coil connections are screwed type for hot water and flanged for steam and high temperature hot water.  Condense connection is flanged.

Air Discharge Louvre

In unit heaters with radial fans, air discharge louvre has paralel blades.  Position of the louvres are controlled by a lever on the louvre.

Mixing Chamber

When return air and fresh air mixture is desired, a mixing chamber with an adjustable mixing damper and a protective wire mesh cover is supplied, for mounting on the suction side of the fan. 

On request, heat / cool type unit heaters or directly gas fired unit heaters can be supplied.
