KLS Shelter Air Handling units meet the local regulations regarding shelter specifications.

GENERAL

Building of shelters, their types, locations, usage, etc. are defined and governed by local standards.  

KLS Shelter Air Handling Units meet Turkish standards and regulations.  Inner surfaces of panels are covered with 1 mm thick lead sheets to minimize the effects of radioactive fallouts.   Furthermore, the G-4 coarse filter, active carbon filter and the radioactive HEPA filter used in the units provide the air cleanliness depicted by local regulations.
